Linda Hampton-Keith, who guided North Carolina State to consecutive 20-win seasons and a berth in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, has been named the head women's volleyball coach at Temple University, announced Vice President and Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson.

Hampton-Keith, who most recently helped Louisville advance to the 2021 Women's Volleyball Final Four as a volunteer coach, brings a wealth of experience to the Temple program.  She served four seasons as the head coach at NC State (2016-19) where she led the Wolfpack to 16 new team season records, 11 individual career and season records, including the program's only NCAA Tournament win, 3-2 over Oregon in 2017.  She also coached 11 All-ACC selections, five AVCA All-Region selections and two AVCA All-Americans during her tenure.

Before her stint at NC State, she was a member of the Arizona State women's volleyball staff for five seasons (2011-15), serving as associate head coach for the final three.  At ASU, she helped the Sun Devils earn four NCAA tournament appearances with the 2015 team being ranked as high as No. 5 in the nation.

Hampton-Keith was also the recruiting coordinator at ASU with her efforts resulting in nationally ranked classes in four of her five years in Tempe.  ASU's 2013 recruiting class was tabbed No. 13 in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com, one of the highest in program history. During her time with the Sun Devils, the program produced two All-Americans, two all-region performers, five All-Pac 12 selections and four Pac 12 All-Freshman Team members.

Prior to her stint at Arizona State, Hampton-Keith spent six seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Texas Christian University. While in Fort Worth, she helped the Horned Frogs post four consecutive winning seasons and earn their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009, which included a 3-0 victory against Rice in the first round.

Hampton-Keith has also worked closely with the nation's top youth players through the USA Volleyball Youth Development Programs. She coached at USA High Performance camps from 2001-05, served as head coach for the USA Volleyball North Texas Region Team in 2007, assisted the Youth National A2 Team in 2009, and most recently assisted the USA Collegiate National Team in 2013 and 2014.

She and her husband, Maark, have one daughter.

Temple University head women's volleyball coach Linda Hampton-Keith announced the first member of her coaching staff with the hiring of Jose Lugo as an assistant coach.
"I am excited to welcome Jose and his family to North Broad Street," said Hampton-Keith. "I look forward to working with him again in a new capacity and seeing the immediate impact he will have on the program. His vast experience throughout his coaching career will serve our staff and team well as we look to elevate our gym and recruiting,"
Lugo brings over 15 years of coaching experience to the Owls program. His experience started from the ground up, working the ranks of high school to junior college to DII and the DI levels

In 2018, Lugo was hired as head women's volleyball coach at DII Newman University in Wichita, Kan. Lugo coached four all-conference selections in his four seasons, including Yemima Buana, Trinity Conley, Riley Daugherty, and Salome Romp. . In the classroom, Lugo had 16 student-athletes earn spots on the conference's Academic Honor Roll.
In the spring of 2019, Lugo was selected as an evaluator for the U.S. Women's National Team Tryouts. He served as one of the 16 evaluating coaches, 10 of which worked on Division I coaching staffs at the time.
Lugo has made four stops as an assistant at the Division I level before being hired at Newman.
He worked with setters and blockers from 2016 to 2017 at Fresno State and helped the Bulldogs finish the 2017 season with the 17th-most blocks per set in the nation.
Lugo returned to his alma mater Arizona State, serving as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2015-16 season with the indoor and beach programs. That year he assisted the indoor team to the 2015 NCAA tournament, and in the spring, he guided Bianca Arellano and Whitney Follette to first-team All-Pac-12 honors.
At Grand Canyon State in 2014-15, Lugo worked with both the indoor and beach teams during tenure.
As an assistant on the Lopes indoor squad, Lugo worked alongside the 2014 WAC Freshman of the Year, Natalie Tardy, and All-WAC First Team, Shannon Dugan. Lugo guided Dugan and Mackenzie Phelps that spring to the 2015 AVCA Beach Volleyball Pairs Championship match and All-American honors.
Lugo spent the 2011-13 seasons with Dartmouth University as the lead assistant and recruiting coordinator. His three-year stay was highlighted by a 16-9 overall record and an 8-6 record in the Ivy League in 2011.
In May 2010, Lugo was hired as the USA Volleyball Women's A2 National Teams director of operations. The squads took the gold and bronze medals at the 2010 USA Open National Tournament.
He got his feet wet at the collegiate level during 2006-07, when he was hired as an assistant at NJCAA's South Mountain Community College in Maricopa, Ariz. Lugo helped turn the program from a last-place finish in the 10-team AACAC conference to a fifth-place finish.
Before he arrived at SMCC, Lugo coached at Desert Mountain High School, helped lead the team to an Arizona State 5AA Championship.
He graduated from Arizona State in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies.
Lugo is married to Rachel and the two have a son and daughter, Xavier and Layla.

Temple head women's volleyball coach Linda Hampton-Keith rounded out her staff with the hiring of Jordan Glass as assistant coach.

"I am thrilled that Jordan will be joining us here at Temple," said Hampton-Keith. "She brings a lot of strengths to our staff, and her enthusiasm is infectious. Our athletes will benefit from her experiences as a student-athlete and coach. I am excited about her impact on our program's vision moving forward."

After two seasons at her alma mater, George Mason University, Glass joins Hampton-Keith's staff on Broad Street.

"I am excited to be joining the Temple's volleyball program! I want to thank Linda Hampton-Keith, Jose Lugo, and Jessica Reo for allowing me to be a part of their vision for this program. I am looking forward to working with the student-athletes to start a new era of Temple Volleyball. Go Owls!" said Glass.

At George Mason University (2020-21), under head coach Aylene Ilkson, Glass served as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator and helped guide Olyvia Kennedy to the 2021 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team, where she had a team-high 258 kills and 2.74 kills per set.

In 2018-19, Glass worked as a graduate assistant coach at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) and earned a master's degree in exercise and sports psychology at SIUE, she worked with all aspects of the program, from scouting and recruiting to team travel. She helped lead the Cougars to a fifth-place finish in the OVC in 2018-19.

Glass had an outstanding playing career at George Mason from 2014-17. With the Patriots, she appeared in nearly 200 sets in 76 career matches. She averaged 1.64 kills, 1.16 digs, and 2.00 points per set.

She excelled off the court, earning a place on the Atlantic 10 Communications Honor Roll two times, and went on to finish her undergrad with a bachelor's degree in communications.
